S: Act 22:4-10 “I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison… “ ‘Get up,’ the Lord said, ‘and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.”
O: Paul was the worst of the worst when it came to sinners. He hunted down Christians in the early Church with such passion his name was feared all over the world. Yet, Jesus still forgave him and taught him to embrace the Word and follow the Lord.
A: No matter how bad I’ve sinned in the past, I’m now a new man, with a new life in Jesus. It really doesn’t matter what I’ve done in my sin life prior to being baptized, as the Lord now embraces me as his son, a rightful heir to the Word.
P: Father God, thank you so much for your forgiveness. Thank you for using the bad things I did to shape me into the man I am now. Please continue to prune me and use me to achieve what you designed me for when you created me long, long ago. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
